Silent retreats

Give yourself as many days as you can.

One day to ten, at a quiet place away from the noise. Not a test of endurance: a journey, one theme a day, with science, silence and the sky.

A glimpse of the place and the practice.

Silence, made gentle.

Most people have never sat quietly for ten minutes. So we don’t throw you into silence. We walk you into it.

One theme a day

Each day has a question: breath, body, mind, feelings, who you are. You always know why you are sitting.

Science with every practice

Every practice comes with what it does to your brain and body, and what the old traditions knew about it. Scientific spiritualism, in Urdu.

Nothing longer than it should be

Sittings start short and grow with the days. Chairs and back rests for everyone. Movement every morning. Seven hours of sleep.

Evenings you will remember

Stories, music, a fire under the open sky, a night lying under the stars. The day ends with something beautiful.

What fills the days.

Every retreat is built from the same practices. Longer retreats add the deeper ones.

Three colours of quiet.

You wear a small badge. Each morning the bell tells everyone the colour of the day.

Green

Talk freely. The first day, the last day, the circles.

Yellow

Quiet, but a soft word when you need something.

White

Full silence. Even a nod can wait.

In every colour you can ask the teacher your questions in the daily dialogue, or write a note. Help is always one step away.
